There have been some fabulous applications so far, but they want more. So come on Austin vendors we know you are out there!

I must admit that I am one of those people who are willing to try just about anything that is non-animal product related. When I went to “The Rarest of them All” party this summer I did just that. I happened by this booth in the far off corner while sipping my Mint & Honey Sweet Leaf Tea. At this point of the afternoon I was pretty much on autopilot from fumbling my way through people, but just as my eyes met the nicely packaged sweet potato treats my ears overheard, the words “vegan… not only can your dog eat them but you can munch on them too!” Before I even knew it the words blurted out of my mouth, “REALLY?!” as I grabbed a package off the table and started to scan the ingredients. The girl said, “Sure, I eat them all the time. Try them out…” as she hands me a sample pack, and a couple of their groovey stickers to take with me on my way.
Wasting no time in tearing the package open as I walked away. Immediately I liked them and before I knew it I had finished off the entire sample bag! (admittedly I was pretty hungry since there were no vegan options at the party, but never-the-less…) About five minutes later I was back at the table buying up a couple of bags for my dog who I have to say to this day loves his sweet potato treats, and when he is not looking I help myself to one or two…perhaps maybe even three:)
