The Lone Star Ladies Present: Shop Austin will take place from 11AM - 5PM at Saengerrunde Hall, (1607 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, TX) today April 18th, 2009.
This shopping event brings together over 30 top local designers, crafters and fine artists from Austin, Texas and surrounding cities.Peruse merchandise from incredible artists and crafters such as *annemarie*, Ballistic Sweater Girl Designs, Chia, Kandle Kidswear, Ornamental Things, Tasty Jewelry and many more high-end designers and crafters. Shoppers can indulge in complimentary facials and makeovers in the Beauty Lounge provided by Haute Sponsor Sarita Richmond of Mary Kay, or treat themselves to a decadent cupcake from local specialty vendor, Hey Cupcake! Attendees can capture the moment by having their picture taken in the Trevor Ray Thompson photo booth. All photos will be available for free download after the event.
So come out and enjoy shopping across a wide variety of gift friendly art and fine craft for all members of the family, including pets! AUSTIN, TX, January 28, 2009 – Anne Marie Beard & Allison Wall, owners of The Bearded Ladies Present, are quite excited about showcasing vendors for their upcoming Shop Austin event, which is being produced this April, and is considered to be the first show of its kind.
The Bearded Ladies Present: Shop Austin has named Electric Promotions, Greenling.com, IMT Residential, The Laser & Electrolysis Studio, Inc., The Onion, and The River 102.3 as its Haute sponsors for this year’s independent design, craft & fine art showcase. This shopping event brings together over 30 top local designers, crafters and fine artists from Austin, Texas and surrounding cities. 12-22 is the application deadline for The Bearded Ladies Present: Shop Austin!
Just wanted to remind everyone that the application closes next Monday - December 22nd, at midnight.
As a special Thank You to those that have already applied, and those who still want to apply to the event, The Bearded Ladies Present: Shop Austin will credit $10.00 of the application fee towards the cost of the booth fee of the accepted vendor.
Vendors art still wanted!!! especially in the areas of pottery/ceramics, mixed media art, bath & body products, and food. If you know of anyone who might be interested in applying for the show - please send them to www.thebeardedladiespresent.com…
There have been some fabulous applications so far, but they want more. So come on Austin vendors we know you are out there!
The Bearded Ladies Present’s primary focus is to showcase Austin and Texas artisans. However, they are considering opening up a second round of applications in January that would be open to artists nationwide, and are open to hosting up to 20% of their vendors from out of Texas. If you don’t want to lose your spot to someone from out of State - apply now!
Promoting fabulous artisans is The Bearded Ladies Present: Shop Austin’s #1 priority! The early application allows them plenty of time to feature everyone on the website, blog and in posters, media ads & of course press releases.

The Bearded Ladies Present has an improved application process…

Recently it was discovered that submission errors were popping up from The Bearded Ladies Present: Shop Austin’s online vendor application. Now after trial and error - they have now improved and *hopefully* error-proofed the vendor application for The Bearded Ladies Present: Shop Austin. So for those of you who submitted an application and failed to receive a response or were not redirected to a payment page they encourage you to return to the site and try again, and apologize for an inconvenience this may have caused you.
To apply to be apart of the show, first read through all of the show details on the Apply Here Page. From there proceed onto the Application, which is now broken down into a three step process.
The Bearded Ladies Present: Shop Austin is looking for artisans based in Central Texas who handcraft clothing, handbags, jewelry, kids items, home decor, pet items, gourmet food and more. The Bearded Ladies Present: Shop Austin will be the shopping event for Austin in April 2009.
